What patients do you see?

All adults and children are welcome. We treat medical conditions and injuries that need prompt care but do not need an ambulance.

Who will care for me?

We are staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, paramedics, LPNs, MAs, X-ray techs and front desk clerical staff.

Do you take insurance and what forms of payment do you accept?

Emergency Physicians Medical Center accepts many private insurance plans including Medicare. We also accept cash, checks and major credit and debit cards.

What if I am out-of-network and have a high deductible plan?

For your convenience, we offer a 40% discount on services and help you submit your claim for reimbursement. We accept any plan's HSA account.

What if I need to be admitted to the hospital?

If you need to be admitted to the hospital, we will help make those arrangements. With our help, you will likely bypass the ER and be directly admitted whenever possible. Because we are not affiliated with local health facilities, you can choose where you want to go. We work closely with UF Health and North Florida Regional Medical Center to facilitate your ongoing care.

What if I need a referral to a specialist?

We will arrange for you to be seen by a specialist if you require additional tests or ongoing care. Our clinic works with UF Health and community physicians like cardiologists, urologists, orthopedic surgeons, oncologists, otolaryngologists and many others to ensure you receive the highest quality follow-up care.
